Who is Stan
Sidman?
Several years ago when I graduated from Boston University, I was
hired by a national mail order firm to be a supervisor over seven employees. In
just two years I took over three departments and 120 employees at only 23 years
old.
When I left the company, I was hired by the oldest stock brokerage
firm in Boston. In only two years I was training new brokers and in the third
year was promoted to be an institutional broker at their Wall Street office
selling to large clients in the Dallas, Houston and Galveston areas.
Ultimately, I came back to Boston and was hired by one of the top
financial planning firms in the city where I received my CLU designation. Always
intrigued by the mind and why we do what we do, I decided to add two other
designations. I became a Certified Hypnotherapist and a Certified Practitioner
of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). The latter helps one to understand how we
take in and process information differently.
I then used the various skills I had acquired to develop “The
Business Development Group” where I would train and develop others to be
able to jump into the minds of their prospective clients. This enabled
participants a distinct competitive advantage as they were able to know what
prospects were actually thinking rather than guessing.
These skills have also helped all employees in companies, from the
presidents down, empowering them and allowing participants to grow to their
potential. Needless to say, the efficiency of the companies naturally grew along
with the development of their employees.
I do hope you’ll take the time out of your day to experience a
different type of group …………you just might be pleasantly surprised!

Business Development Group
